Sadhu came to know about the importance of dedication

Many stories of Buddha's life seem very miraculous. Some historians believe that Buddha was an atheist. This may or may not be true. It is believed that many stories in Buddhist literature have been added or subtracted later. In such a situation, only a serious student of Buddhist literature can tell the truth of the popular stories about Buddha. It is said that once he was giving a sermon somewhere.

All the monks, including the most beloved disciple and cousin Ananda, were enjoying the discourse. Then a wandering monk came there and bowed to Buddha and said, Lord! I am an ordinary monk. I have neither intelligence nor tact. I neither have any vocabulary nor the art of talking to anyone efficiently. I am not in a position to even raise any question or curiosity. If you consider me worthy, then tell me some things that I should accept, so that my life also becomes successful.

Hearing this, Gautam Buddha smiled for a while and then remained silent. On the other hand, the monk also became silent after saying his words. Both remained silent for a long time. Suddenly tears started flowing from his eyes. After a long time, the wandering monk got up and bowed to him and said, Lord! I was blessed by the education you gave me. Having said this, the sadhu went away dancing and singing.

The people present there were astonished. Finally, Anand asked without saying anything and he went away satisfied. Buddha said that there are many types of horses. One blow from a whip makes them walk. The other horse has to be beaten from time to time.

The third type of horse has to be beaten continuously only then will it move. For the fourth type of horse the shadow of the whip is sufficient. This saint was also the fourth type of saint.
